The Steelers' LaMarr Woodley recently stopped by the Scott Van Pelt show to explain why he didn't hold out:
↵↵↵Man, I mean, I'm a football player. That's just how it is. I know if I'm sitting back holding out, I'm not here getting better, not here building chemistry with my teammates, I'm not looking at that Super Bowl thing. I'm not looking at that Super Bowl trophy if I'm sitting at home holding out. So I don't have time to be sitting back, not getting better by sitting at home ... I can't do anything about [the NFL's collective bargaining agreement]. All I can do is go out there and play, which I did. It's up to the organization to make their decision on what they want to do with me.
