Panthers Finish Off Wildcats

New Hampshire added a late touchdown, but Pitt cruised to a 38-16 win over the Wildcats Saturday at Heinz Field.

Tino Sunseri, Jon Baldwin and Ray Graham led the Panther attack, with Sunseri going 24-35 for 275 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Graham picked up the slack on a quiet day for feature back Dion Lewis, going for 115 yards and two scores on nine carries while contributing in the passing game. Baldwin caught six passes for 100 yards and a score.

The pesky Widcats hung with the Panthers for much of the first half until Pitt added a touchdown just before the break and surged in the second half. The Panthers outgained the visitors 445-298 and held New Hampshire to 73 rushing yards.
