Trent Richardson was able to get a good push a couple of times on Alabama’s first drive, but the Nittany Lions got some solid pressure on Greg McElroy on a couple of pass attempts and forced a punt on a third and short.
Alabama has been running the Pistol a lot early. It’ll be interesting to see Penn State’s game plan against it as the game goes along.
