↵The commission coordinates with government agencies to get more Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to take part in federal programs for businesses, agriculture, economic development and several other fields.
↵Ward, voted the Most Valuable Player in the Steelers' Super Bowl XL victory, was born to a Korean mother and black father. His Hines Ward Helping Hands Foundation helps mixed-race children who face discrimination.
