D’Anton Lynn forced an interception on Kent State’s first drive, and on the ensuing drive, Penn State QB Robert Bolden scored from less than a yard out to put the Lions up 7-0.
On the drive, Evan Royster topped 3000 career rushing yards, becoming the sixth PSU running back to do so.
Also of note are three starting changes – both defensive ends from the first two games have been replaced, with Sean Stanley and Pete Massaro getting their first starts today. WR Justin Brown is officially the starter in place of Graham Zug, though many receivers will see action.
