The Penguins announced that center Jordan Staal will not be ready for on-ice activities when training camp begins on Sept 18th.
↵Staal is dealing with having an off-season surgery in June to totally correct the damage down when Montreal’s P.K. Subban stepped on the top of his foot.
↵It is believed that Staal has not been able to do much in the way of on-ice summer conditioning and that is foot is not damaged. As of now, Staal is expected to be in the lineup for the regular season opener on October 7th against Philadelphia.
