Pitt Forward Lamar Patterson Unhurt In Accident

Pitt redshirt freshman Lamar Patterson was involved in an accident when the car he was driving struck a building on Friday in Oakland:

Lamar Patterson, a 19-year-old red-shirt freshman from Lancaster, Pa., was driving down Forbes Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. when the car in front of him stopped unexpectedly, said E.J. Borghetti, Pitt's associate athletic director for media relations. Mr. Patterson swerved and drove into the Eureka Building, a Pitt-owned high-rise on Forbes Avenue near Coltart Avenue.

Patterson suffered no signficant injury and no one in the building was harmed. The crash is under investigation.
