WVU, PSU Move Up In AP Poll, Pitt Drops Out

In today's first Associated Press College Football Poll since the season's opening weekend, area teams shifted their rankings slightly.  Pitt's move was most notable, dropping from 15th to unranked following a season-opening loss on the road at Utah.  West Virginia moved up three spots, from 25 to 23, following their victory at home against Coastal Carolina.  Penn State's ranking improved by one spot, from 19 to 18, after they manhandled the Youngstown State Penguins.
