Illinois Vs. Penn State Second Half Updates: Under 4 Timeout

The building has gotten very tense again, as Penn State just can't seem to finish offensive possessions. The Nittany Lions are in a game against a very good team, but fans just aren't feeling good about it right now. Penn State needs a couple buckets to get the crowd into the game again.

Two big Andrew Jones free throws put Penn State up three.

Penn State will be in the bonus the rest of the way. Fortunately for Penn State, the Lions still only have four team fouls.

Jermaine Marshall is having a tough time getting calls underneath, and he just got called for fouling a jump shooter. He's obviously not happy, and Tim Frazier, who's been pretty quiet this half, returns for the Lions.

Penn State trails again with 5:45, but it's tight.

Andrew Jones hits another jumper. That's been a very key part of his game the past couple of weeks. He's really going to start drawing the defenses out if he can keep up the sweet touch.

Another really deep three for Talor Battle and the building is alive again. Illinois calls timeout with Penn State up 55-51.

A tough drive to the bucket by Demetri McCamey cuts the Penn State lead to 55-53 with 3:48 to play.
