Penn State Vs. Ohio State First Half Updates: Under 16 Timeout

Todd Hamilton drops a Barbasol reference in the open. It's officially Big Ten basketball season.

Penn State starting five still the same it's been all season, Talor Battle, Jeff Brooks, David Jackson, Andrew Jones and Tim Frazier.

Battle gets Penn State on the board with a fall away jumper from the top of the key. Both teams playing at a snail's pace.

Ohio State gets is first bucket from Jared Sullinger off a Buckeye offensive rebound. Penn State can't afford to give up many of those today or the Buckeyes will work them over quickly.

A lot of Penn State's shots are going long here in the early going. Probably a case of nerves. This will be Penn State's toughest road test so far this season.

Penn State opens in a 3-2 zone on defense. Obviously Ed DeChellis has decided the top priority is stopping Ohio State and Sullinger inside.

With 15:22 to play in the first half, Penn State and Ohio State are tied, 4-4.
