It looks like the the concussion that has sidelined Sidney Crosby for the last eight games will keep him out of the 2011 All-Star game in Raleigh next weekend. Crosby has not been symptom-free and hasn’t resumed working out yet, and it’s unknown when he may return.
↵Evgeni Malkin likewise has been bugged by a nagging left knee injury that has kept him out of the lineup for the last two games. Malkin has not yet officially been ruled out of the all-star game like Crosby has, but it appears that will be the case soon as well.
↵The Penguins play one more game on Tuesday against the New York Islanders before the all-star break.
