Wisconsin Vs. Penn State First Half Updates: Badgers Boost Lead

Wisconsin is getting to the offensive boards early here on Penn State and that doesn't bode well for the Nittany Lions at all. Like Penn State, Wisconsin likes to keep games slow and low scoring. If you give the Badgers extra possessions they'll make you pay by using a lot of clock and getting good shots.

Jermaine Marshall is first off the bench for Penn State.

Wisconsin is  really going to work on the inside. The Badgers have hit a three but everything else is going through Jon Leuer down low.

Penn State no down at about the midpoint in the half. Can't afford to let that number get too much bigger against a team like Wisconsin which won't allow a lot of points.

Jon Leuer hits a layup and Ed DeChellis calls timeout with Penn State down 17-5 with 10:42 remaining in the half. Lions are reeling on the defensive end right now and not hitting shots at the other end.

At the media timeout, Penn State continues to trail by the score about with 10:19 to play in the half.
