Wisconsin Vs. Penn State First Half Updates: Badgers Maintaining Edge

Talor Battle has exactly zero points coming out of this media timeout. That's definitely not good for Penn State at all. This is one game he can't afford to be off, or this thing will be over by halftime.

And speak of the devil, Battle gets on the board with a nice floater in traffic.

Jon Leuer is already up to eight points for Wisconsin. Penn State's having a hard time accounting for his versatility. He can shoot the three ball at 40% so you have to respect him out there, but he's also taller than any Nittany Lion that will take the floor today at 6'10. Tough matchup.

Jordan Taylor hits a devastating three as the shot clock expires to give Wisconsin its largest lead at 13. Penn State played 34 good seconds of defense but all it took was one extra pass for the Badgers to generate a good shot.

Penn State is getting into a better flow offensively, but the Badgers are still getting any shot they want and are on a nice pace. Penn State's going to have to slow that down to have a chance in this one.

With 6:42 to play in the half, Penn State, trails Wisconsin 22-11.
