Wisconsin Vs. Penn State First Half Updates: Badgers Lead At Half

The crowd has really filled in but hasn't gotten a chance to get involved as Penn State continues to trail by double digits. Penn State suffered a similar fate with a big crowd for the Maryland game. Big crowd, small noise.

David Jackson hits two straight 3-pointers to pull Penn State to within seven. Really needed that. If the Lions can keep it to single digits heading into the half, things should be OK.

Major scoreboard malfunction here at the BJC. Player J1 for Wisconsin is listed as having 35 points. Player No. 88 for the Badgers has 88 points and eight fouls.

Jermaine Marshall looks like a way better defensive matchup on Jordan Taylor than Tim Frazier and he's getting a majority of the minutes alongside Battle in the back court here.

Talor Battle still only has two points.

Jermaine Marshall gets a basket and-one to cut the Wisconsin lead to four, bringing the Jordan Center crowd to its feet.

Huge block by Jeff Brooks, but Penn State gets nothing out of its ensuing possession.

Scoreboard is failing epically. The horn just sounded for a good 10 seconds prompting the refs to stop play.

Wisconsin gets two straight buckets to push the lead back to nine before the half. With 20 minutes to play here at the Jordan Center, it's Wisconsin 29, Penn State 20.
