Following a disappointing loss at Michigan on Friday evening, Penn State will look to rebound tonight when the it hosts No. 10 Purdue at 6:30 on the Big Ten Network.
The Nittany Lions are 3-1 this season coming off a loss, but will be facing a very tough Purdue team that features big scorers E'Twaun Moore and JaJuan Johnson, though the Boilermakers will be without star Robbie Hummel who is out for the season with a torn ACL.
Penn State narrowly fell to Purdue at the Bryce Jordan Center last spring when the Boilermakers came to State College for the Lions' last home game of the season. That day, the Penn State held Moore to nine points and as a result, played the Purdue tough, falling by only two points to a team that clinched a share of the Big Ten championship with the win.
Tonight, Penn State will be without transfer Chris Babb, who scored 17 points in that game. However, the Lions will be looking for big nights out of David Jackson and Jeff Brooks who have posted double figures in scoring in each of Penn State's first two games of the conference season.
