Penn State host Michigan State today at 1:00 P.M on the Big Ten Network. The Nittany Lions (8-6, 1-2) have lost four of their past five games and after getting a win against Indiana in their conference opener have dropped their last two Big Ten conference games to Michigan and Purdue.
The Spartans (10-4, 2-0) enter the Bryce Jordan Center today winners over Minnesota and Northwestern to open conference play. They're led by a familiar cast for the Lions, guards Durrell Summers and Kalin Lucas as well as forward Draymond Green. Michigan State has struggled against ranked competition this season, but has won the games it was supposed to win. Sparty will be a tough assignment for Penn State today.
Jermaine Marshall will be looking to keep the momentum he established against Purdue on Wednesday night going for the Lions. The red shirt freshman came off the bench to score 18 points in the Lions loss to the Boilermakers. He'll look to supplement the Lions consistent scoring trio of Talor Battle, Jeff Brooks and David Jackson.
