Utah Vs. Pitt Score Update: Utah Takes The Lead 16-14

After cutting the lead to just one point to enter half time, Utah came out of the second half pounding the ball. On the second play of the half, running back John White IV took the ball 37 yards into Pitt territory. A few plays later, quarterback Jon Hayes hit receiver Dres Anderson on a 13-yard pass to the Pitt 18 to get the Utes in the red zone. After a sack on third down, however, Utah had to settle for a field goal to take the lead 16-14.

Pitt will need to answer on offense, which will now be lead by freshman Trey Anderson, as Tino Sunseri was benched prior to half time after taking two consecutive sacks for another Pitt 3-and-out. Before he was benched, Sunseri had completed just four of his 10 passes for 38 yards. Sunseri also had -7 yards rushing.
