Utah Vs. Pitt: Tino Sunseri Comes Back In, Pitt Offense Still Stalls

The switch from quarterback Tino Sunseri to freshman quarterback Trey Anderson didn't seem to help Pitt's offense, as the Panthers punted after just four plays on their opening drive of the second half. Utah and Pitt decided to trade 3-and-out drives and punts as both offenses stalled out.

On Utah's next drive, despite a 26-yard pass from quarterback Jon Hays to Dres Anderson, Utah shot themselves in the foot with a 9-yard sack and some penalties and the drive stalled, forcing Utah to punt the ball back to Pitt. Pitt promptly went 3-and-out, ending their drive on a 10-yard sack of quarterback Trey Anderson. Pitt realized they weren't moving the football with Anderson so Tino Sunseri was put back into the game, but on his first drive it ended with Sunseri getting sacked on third down for a loss of 6 yards.
