Devils Vs. Penguins: Preview, Time And TV Information

The Pittsburgh Penguins and James Neal look to make it three wins in a row as they host the New Jersey Devils.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are beginning to get healthy as they get ready to take on the New Jersey Devils in the CONSOL Energy Center. Though the Penguins will be without Evgeni Malkin for the game, it is still unsure of Sidney Crosby will be playing. Defenseman Kris Letang will be back following a two-game suspension and defenseman Brooks Orpik and reserve center Dustin Jeffrey are both expected to be back.

The Penguins will be looking for their third straight victory heading into the game against the Devils. Last season the Penguins went 4-1-1 against the Devils, winning all of the home games in the series, and they'll be looking to get off on the right foot against their division opponent.

The Devils are coming off a loss where they saw their own 3-game winning streak ended against the San Jose Sharks. Back up goalie Johan Hedberg is once again going to get the start, filling in for an injured Martin Brodeur who is still nursing a right shoulder injury.

Penguins forward James Neal will look to take advantage and continue his hot start to the season, having scored seven goals in the first nine games.

Game Date/Time: Saturday, October 22, 7:00 P.M. ET

Venue: CONSOL Energy Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

TV: MSG PLUS (Local-New Jersey), ROOT Sports (Local-Pittsburgh)

Odds: Devils +155 to win, Penguins -160 to win, Penguins favored by 1 1/2 goals
