UConn Vs. West Virginia Score: Geno Smith Pouring It On, 33-9

After West Virginia pushed the score to 26-4 on a safety, the Mountaineers put their foot on the pedal. The Mountaineers got the ball back after the safety and it took just 6 plays for them to add more points and increase their lead to 33-9. Geno Smith connected with Tavon Austin for 21-yards and then a few plays later connected on a 22-yard touchdown pass to Brad Starks.

Geno Smith is now up to 350 passing yards and 3 passing touchdowns on 22 completions.  The Mountaineers have been limited on the ground with just 31 yards rushing, but have still scored 23 points in the third quarter thanks to the arm of Geno Smith and the defenses' ability to force turnovers and put the Mountaineers in scoring range. Receiver Stedman Bailey is also putting on a show, with 5 receptions for 142 yards, including an 84-yard touchdown catch.
