Penn State vs. Nebraska: Game Remains Scoreless

After Anthony Fera's missed field goal for Penn State, Taylor Martinez and Nebraska come out with three straight incompletions and the Cornhuskers are forced to punt. Martinez and his receivers seem to be having a very hard time getting on the same page early on here, and the Nittany Lions are getting some solid pressure.

With the ball back, Penn State picks up a quick first down as Matthew McGloin hits Derek Moye for a gain of 11 on the first play of the drive. An incompletion on third down of the following set of downs, though, and Penn State is forced to punt.

At this point, Penn State has outgained Nebraska 74-11. The Huskers are throwing a bunch here in the early going, obviously showing respect for Penn State's run defense, which to this point, has held Nebraska to -4 yards rushing.

On its ensuing drive, Nebraska picks up a first down on the ground to show a little life, but an incompletion on the ensuing third down, and its another punt for the Huskers.

With 2:02 left in the first quarter, its still scoreless in Happy Valley.
