The Pittsburgh Penguins have been one of, if not, the best teams in the NHL this year, and they are starting to be represented as such in the various NHL Power Rankings across the Internet. We'll start with the lowest ranking, which is No. 2 from ESPN.

A big win at home against Dallas on Friday was followed by a disappointing loss in Carolina on Saturday. But the Pens, still awaiting Sidney Crosby's return, are 7-2-1 in their past 10, and their plus-11 goal differential is top-five in the league.

The first No. 1 ranking comes from FOX.

Dan Bylsma continues to work magic in maintaining a positive, upbeat locker room despite being beset by injuries.

CBS also has the Penguins at the top of their ranking.

With another shorthanded goal Saturday night, the Penguins penalty kill is still outscoring the opposition power play this season. Overall, the Penguins have four shorthanded goals and have allowed just three power play goals, one of which came during a 4-on-3 situation. At 4 on 5 their edge for the season entering this week is 4-2.
