Penguins Vs. Senators: Pittsburgh Looks To Bounce Back From St. Louis Loss

The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the St. Louis Blues yesterday, but Sidney Crosby and the boys will have a chance to bounce back against Ottawa on Friday.

The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the St. Louis Blues two days ago in what could have been construed as a trap game following the emotional return of Sidney Crosby on Monday. Now they have to come back very quickly from a short Thanksgiving vacation to take on the Ottawa Senators on Friday night. The game starts at 7:00 PM and can be seen on ROOT Sports.

The Senators are a decent team, with a 10-9-2 record, but they have a pretty glaring weakness that the Penguins should be able to exploit. They have the No. 28-ranked defense in the NHL, allowing 3.3 goals per game on the season, which amounts to half a goal more per game then they score. The Penguins are one of the best offensive teams in the NHL, with a superstar getting back into his groove, so they should be able to get a decent number of shots if they're playing as well as they could.

We'll be following this game tonight on SB Nation Pittsburgh in this StoryStream, but for more on the Penguins, head over to our Pittsburgh blog PensBurgh.
