Steelers Injury Report, Week 10: Troy Polamalu Sits Out Practice

The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to take on another AFC North opponent when they travel to face the Cincinnati Bengals, as the teams battle for position in the division.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hit the practice field today coming off their tough loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers were without a few key players at practice today, including safety Troy Polamalu, who sat out with a rib injury. Five other Steelers sat out practice:

Troy Polamalu (ribs), Emmanuel Sanders (knee), LaMarr Woodley (hamstring), Arnaz Battle (hamstring), Stevenson Sylvester (knee), and Jerricho Cotchery (knee).

The only player officially ruled out so far is wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. James Farrior, Hines Ward, and Doug Legursky all practiced in full today. Hines Ward was the only one of the three listed on the report however, coming off of a potential concussion on Sunday Night Football when he took a shot to the helmet from Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. Ward will likely take concussion tests throughout the week before his status for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals is determined.
