It appears the incredible tide of injuries and absences may finally be turning the Penguins' way. Today they were able to re-assign forward Tim Wallace back to WB/S of the American Hockey League.
↵Wallace appeared in four games this season with the NHL Penguins, recording a whopping zero shots on goal.
↵Matt Cooke has served the final game of his four game suspension and will return for Pittsburgh’s next game on Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks. The status of some injured forwards who may be close to returning, notably Chris Kunitz and Dustin Jeffrey, remains unknown at this time.
