Pittsburgh Football Recruiting: Where The Panthers Stand On National Signing Day

Today is National Signing Day, one of the most important days on the college football calendar. The first day that recruits can sign their letters of intent, which makes their previously verbal agreements 100% official. A lot of the guys you hear about for the first time today will end up making a huge difference in college football over the next four years.

While this is an important day for the Panthers, Pitt's new head coach Todd Graham hasn't really been put in a position to succeed today. With all the turnover in the coaching staff, Pitt probably isn't going to have as good of a recruiting class as it could have.

One of the big prospects is Delvon Simmons, a big time defensive tackle from western Pennsylvania who is deciding between Pitt, Oregon, North Carolina and Texas Tech. He could be a big get for Graham in his first month as head coach.

We'll be updating this stream with updates about the state of the Panthers recruiting class. Keep checking back for the latest news and updates. And keep an eye on the SB Nation Signing Day stream for the national angle.
