The Trib reports that Jeannette's Terrelle Pryor is struggling in his first practices after being taken by the Raiders in the NFL supplemental draft.
↵↵↵Pryor threw nine passes in team sessions, completing four of them with a few far off target. He also fumbled a pair of snaps on his seven running plays as he starts the process of learning how to be a pro ...
↵"The problem is that now I'm 17, 18 days, practices behind right now," Pryor said Friday. "I'm just playing catch-up right now. Some of the stuff is getting there, and I'm starting to get familiar with some of the stuff."
↵
That makes sense. Pryor hasn't played in months. There's also the fact that he was clearly going to be a project when he was drafted, and that he's going to have to sit out the first five games of the season anyway. He's had almost no time to learn the Raiders' system.
↵Pryor will sit out against the Saints this week. It's unclear whether he'll play against the Seahawks in the Raiders' final preseason game.
