Penn St. Ranked No. 25 In First USA Today Poll, West Virginia And Pitt Receive Votes

USA Today has come out with their first Top-25 Coaches Poll, and they have Penn St. occupying the 25th and final spot. Both Pittsburgh and West Virginia also received votes.

USA Today just came out with their first Top 25 Coaches Poll of the season, and they have Joe Paterno and the Penn St. Nittany Lions ranked No. 25, just a single point behind Texas. Here is the full Top 25

But fans of the Panthers and Mountaineers should not fear - they're represented in the poll as well, even if not in the Top 25. West Virginia got 149 points, which would technically make them the No. 27 team in the Nation, even though it doesn't really work that way. Pittsburgh was one of the last teams included, receiving only three points.
