College Basketball Rankings: West Virginia Receiving Votes, Pittsburgh Continues Tumble

The Big East placed four teams in this week's AP poll, and West Virginia entered the "others receiving votes" category.

While the Pittsburgh Panthers continued their tumble off the college basketball rankings radar, the West Virginia Mountaineers ascended into the "Others Receiving Votes" category this week after their big home win over top-10-ranked Georgetown. There are currently five Big East teams in the Top 25, led by undefeated and No. 1 Syracuse.
