The Pittsburgh Penguins are coming off a shootout win over the Carolina Hurricanes, and a win against the New York Rangers on Thursday night would give them their fifth straight victory after the loss to the Capitals in Washington. They'll face those Rangers in Madison Square Garden at 7:00 PM. You can catch the game on ROOT Sports.

The Penguins already faced the Rangers this month and suffered a 3-1 loss at home on January 6. Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist was a star in that game, recording 37 saves and letting in just the one goal. If the Penguins want to do better in this game, they'll need to find a way to get past him more often.

We'll have plenty more on this game throughout the day so keep it locked to SB Nation Pittsburgh and this StoryStream.
