2012 NHL All-Star Game: Evgeni Malkin, James Neal, Kris Letang Represent Penguins Sunday

The 2012 NHL All-Star Game between Team Chara and Team Alfredsson will take place at 4:00 PM Eastern on Sunday on NBC Sports Network. From the Penguins, Evgeni Malkin will play for Team Chara, while James Neal and Kris Letang will be on Team Alfredsson.

Neal and Letang will have the fans in Ottawa behind them -- team captain Daniel Alfredsson drafted his Senators teammates Milan Michalek, Erik Karlsson and Jason Spezza. Ottawa native Claude Giroux will also play for Team Alfredsson.

"I’m obviously very happy to get all the Senators," said Alfredsson. "I didn’t know for sure if (Chara) was going to pick the Canucks or not, so I kind of played it that way. Nothing was planned, but I wanted to make sure I got Erik (Karlsson) and Jason (Spezza). I would have maybe liked to have one of Malkin or Datsyuk, but I got Giroux and I was really happy with that. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it."

Zdeno Chara drafted Malkin in the third round. Before Malkin came Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk and Bruins goalie Tim Thomas.
