The Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin gave Team Chara an early 2-0 lead in the 2012 edition of the NHL's All Star Game. Malkin beat Henrik Lundqvist from a bad angle for the score. Geno is playing better hockey than anyone in the world right now, and it didn't take long to make an impact in today's game among the league's best.
Skating down the right wing, Malkin controlled a pass from Jarome Iginla on his skate, moved it over to his stick and then quickly flipped it past Lundqvist. The All Star Game is full of highlights, but it doesn't make Malkin's dazzling play any less impressive.
