Steelers' Shaun Suisham named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his role in the Steelers 16-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Suisham went three-for-three, making field goals of 20, 34, and 34 yards. His second 34-yarder was a game-winning kick as time expired.

It was the fifth game-winner of his career and Suisham's second time winning this honor. The last time Suisham was named player of the week was back in 2007 with the Washington Redskins.

So far this season, Suisham is eight-for-eight on field goals and nine-for-nine on extra points. His longest field goal of the season was a 45-yarder. The Steelers signed Suisham on Nov. 16, 2010 after stints with the Cowboys, 49ers and Redskins.

Pittsburgh's win over Philadelphia improved their record to 2-2 on the season. The Steelers play the Thursday night game in Week 6, travelling to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans.
