The Pittsburgh Steelers may be without center Maurkice Pouncey when they take the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Pouncey is battling a knee problem and his absence will only hurt a running game that has been among the league's worst.
Running backs Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman will definitely be out of the lineup against the Bengals, so more responsibility will be thrown on Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers passing game, according to Behind the Steel Curtain.
Cincinnati has been much more fortunate on the injury front, as they have no players listed as out on Friday's injury report. Running back Brian Leonard was the only Bengal that did not practice this week. He is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game.
The Steelers have been battling injuries all season and find themselves with a 2-3 record, with the team's bye week already in the rear view mirror. This is an important game if Pittsburgh wants to stay close in a muddled AFC playoff hunt.
