Steelers injuries: Isaac Redman could play vs. Redskins

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Isaac Redman could play on Sunday when the team hosts the visiting Washington Redskins at Heinz Field, but the tailback is currently listed as questionable, via Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest.

The 27-year-old Redman missed his first game of the season last week against the Cincinnati Bengals and there is a chance he could miss his second straight game. He was able to practice on Friday, albeit limited, as he continues to nurse an ankle injury.

On the season, Redman has accumulated just 127 yards in 50 carries (2.54 yards per carry) with one touchdown, but the running back became a receiving threat out of the backfield when he caught four passes for 105 yards in Week 6.

The Steelers have already ruled running back Rashard Mendenhall out for Sunday's game against the Redskins, because of an Achilles injury. Obviously, they will not want to be without two of their running backs.
