The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing the New York Giants this week in a much-anticipated showdown at MetLife Stadium.
However, they may be without a few key members of their defense in safety Ryan Clark and linebacker LaMarr Woodley.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Clark is still working his way back from a concussion he sustained on Sunday against the Washington Redskins. The standout still needs to pass a battery of tests before being cleared to play.
Woodley is dealing with a hamstring ailment after aggravating a previous injury last weekend in the Washington game. However, Tomlin seems somewhat optimistic that Woodley can play, saying his injury looks better than linebacker Stevenson Sylvester who's also questionable.
Running back Isaac Redman looks ready to play after suffering a high ankle sprain that's kept him out of the past two games. Rashard Mendenhall has also been cleared for individual drills, but his status for Sunday is up in the air.
