Albany vs. Duquesne 2012: TV schedule, game time, spread and more

Duquesne will try to play spoiler at home against five-time NEC champ Albany.

Duquense will try to snap a two-game NEC losing streak on Saturday against a visiting Albany Great Danes team. Albany sits atop the conference, tied with Wagner in the loss column at 5-1. The Great Danes are 7-2 overall and have one of the best offenses in the FCS. Despite the game being at friendly Rooney Field, the Dukes will be fighting an uphill battle to snap the losing streak.

This will be the home finale for Duquense, and while they're certainly capable of knocking off Albany, the defense will have to buckle down against the Great Danes. Duquense was eliminated from the NEC title chase last week, but they should relish playing spoiler at home. Albany is a five-time NEC champion, however, and rolled over the Dukes last season, 38-10. Quarterback Sean Patterson will need to be firing on all cylinders to go score-for-score and keep the Dukes in it down the stretch.
