There are still some big fish out there for the 2013 recruiting season, and one of them is local wide receiver Robert Foster. Foster narrowed his list of potential schools down to three a little more than a month ago -- Pitt, Alabama, and Ohio State.
After some interesting tweets recently, it seemed as though Foster might be headed to Alabama after he said he loved his recent visit there. Still, Foster recently tweeted that he's not making a decision just yet, and Pitt appears to still be in the running.
The fact that Pitt is still a possibility for Foster when he's had offers from just about every big school in the country is pretty impressive. You can chalk much of that up to the fact that they're local, but that can only count for so much. There must be some aspects of the university that he likes, and Pitt's got a good chance to land him. That should not only make head coach Paul Chryst happy, but also the team's young quarterbacks - freshman Chad Voytik and 2013 commitment Tra'Von Chapman.
