The Pittsburgh Panthers will aim to keep their bowl eligibility hopes alive when they take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as part of a loaded holiday weekend of college football action.
With four wins on the year and two games remaining, the Panthers will need to win both their Saturday meeting with Rutgers and next weekend's showdown with the South Florida Bulls to become bowl-eligible.
Elsewhere, the Penn State Nittany Lions will hit the field for the final time in 2012, as their season ends with a conference showdown against the Wisconsin Badgers.
The West Virginia Mountaineers, also looking to gain bowl eligibility take on the Iowa State Cyclones in a Friday afternoon meeting.
