Coming off a heartbreaking loss at the hands of No. 4 Notre Dame, the Pitt Panthers face the UConn Huskies Friday night in a Big East matchup.
Pitt enters the contest 4-5 overall and 1-3 in the conference, putting the Panthers near the bottom of the standings. Quarterback Tito Sunseri has a 68.8 percent completion rate, 2363 yards and 14 touchdowns through nine games this season.
They face a UConn team at the bottom of the Big East conference standings. The Huskies are currently in the midst of a four-game losing steak after dropping their first four conference games of the season. In that span, they have not scored more than 14 points in a game.
After UConn, Pittsburgh faces No. 23 Rutgers and South Florida. The Panthers must win two of those next three games to be bowl-eligible.
