Pitt Football Recruiting: Panthers Bring In 16 Commitments On National Signing Day

Pittsburgh football officially signed 16 commitments on National Signing Day. The big prize for Pitt on signing day was five-star running back Rushel Shell from Aliquippa, PA out of Hopewell. Shell is the No. 4 ranked running back in the country and Pitt was able to keep him in state. Pitt was also able to land four-star tight end J.P. Holtz from Pittsburgh, PA out of Shaler Area High School.

Pitt was also able to bring in four-star quarterback Chad Voytik from Cleveland, TN the No. 12 ranked quarterback in the country. Staying in state again, the Panthers brought in four-star linebacker Deaysean Rippy from McKees Rock, PA out of Sto-Rox High School. Pitt was able to bring in six commitments from Pennsylvania.

The Pitt class is ranked No. 4 in the Big East and No. 38 overall as of now, according to Scout.com.
