Hines Ward Pleads Guilty To Reckless Driving Charge

Hines Ward was arrested on a DUI charge during the NFL Lockout in July. According to CBS Atlanta, Ward has pled guilty to a reckless driving charge and pled no contest on a failure to maintain a lane charge. Luckily for Ward, it doesn't seem like there will be very much of a penalty associated with the charges.

He was sentenced to 12 months in prison but only had to serve one day, which he already served when he was initially arrested. The judge also fined him $2,000 and ordered him to perform 80 hours of community service.

It's still unclear whether Ward will return to the Steelers next year. Last season, Steelers fans already seemed to have forgotten the DUI incident, and it's doubtful this will have much effect on Ward's chances of returning.
