After three straight losses -- the first of which came against No. 22 Temple -- the Duquesne Dukes find themselves in the bottom half of the Atlantic 10 standings with only two regular-season games left to play. They currently rank ninth in the conference.
Temple 11-3 22-6
Saint Louis 10-4 22-6
Xavier 9-5 18-10
St. Bonaventure 9-5 16-10
Saint Joseph's 9-6 19-11
Massachusetts 8-6 19-9
Dayton 8-6 18-10
La Salle 7-7 18-11
Duquesne 6-8 15-13
Richmond 6-9 15-15
Charlotte 5-9 13-14
George Washington 5-9 10-18
Fordham 3-11 10-17
Rhode Island 3-11 6-23
The Dukes could have improved their standing in the conference last week if they had picked up wins over Dayton and lowly George Washington, but they failed on both counts. They face Charlotte on the road on Wednesday, then take on Saint Louis next weekend in what should be a very tough road matchup. And that's it, until the A-10 tournament begins on March 6.
