2012 Super Bowl Prop Bets: Camera Facetime A Worthwhile Bet This Year

Super Bowl Sunday is not just about the game. Sure, fans want to see the Super Bowl XLVI matchup of the New England Patriots (15-3) versus the New York Giants (12-7), but with Super Bowl Sunday also comes the wonderful opportunity to place prop bets on the game. These are bets that have virtually nothing to do with the actual play on the field. In visiting with our friends at OddsShark, it appears television camera time is a hot betting option this year, so why not look at three such choices:

How many times will Peyton Manning be shown on TV during the game? [Over 3.5]

Over (-135)

Under (-105)

How many times will Giselle Bundchen be shown on TV during the game? [Over 0.5]

Over (-300)

Under (+200)

How many times will Robert Kraft be shown on TV during the game? [Over 3.5]

Over (-140)

Under (EVEN)

If you had to choose just one, I'd bet on the Patriots crusty old owner Robert Kraft getting the least facetime. We certainly know NBC won't pass up the opportunity to show Tom Brady's extremely attractive lady friend as many times as they can.

Super Bowl XLVI is scheduled to kick off at 6:29 P.M. ET, and the game will be televised nationally on NBC. The network will also be streaming the game live, for free, at NBCSports.com
