College Basketball Rankings, Feb. 6: Kentucky No. 1 For Third Straight Week

The latest men's college basketball rankings were released Monday, and the top 6 in each polls are the same with the Kentucky Wildcats being No. 1.

The latest men's college basketball rankings were released Monday, and the top six program are the same in both the Associated Press Poll and USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll with the Kentucky Wildcats being the No 1-ranked team followed, by the Syracuse Orange, Ohio St. Buckeyes, Missouri Tigers, North Carolina Tar Heels and Baylor Bears.

The Kansas Jayhawks are ranked No. 7 in the AP poll, while the Florida Gators, Murray St. Racers and Duke Blue Devils round out the top 10.

As for the Big East Conference, the Georgetown Hoyas are ranked No. 12/13, while the Marquette Golden Eagles are 18/19 and Louisville Cardinals 24/25. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish just failed to crack the top 25 in both polls.

The Big Ten had five teams make the top 25: Michigan St. Spartans (11/12), Wisconsin Badgers (22/22), Michigan Wolverines (22/25), Indiana Hoosiers (23/23).
