The Penn State women’s basketball team has a No. 4 seed in the Women’s NCAA Tournament and will face No. 13 UTEP in the first round. UTEP (29-3, 15-1) won the Conference USA Championship by beating Tulane, but the Miners didn’t face a ranked team all season.
The game will be played in Baton Rouge, La. at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 18.
If Penn State should win in the first round, it would have to face either LSU or San Diego State.
