Talley has always been in the shadows of fellow sophomore guard T.J. McConnell, so his leaving the program doesn't come as much of a surprise. There has been no word on where he will be transferring to.

Rumors of players leaving began swirling when head coach Ron Everhart was continuing to recruit for 2012 even though there were no open scholarships. The signing of guard Bryan Harris yesterday meant that the recruiting class of 2012 is now up to four players, although only two seniors are leaving the team. After Talley's departure, the Dukes still have one too many players. There has been no official word yet as to who could also be leaving the program.
