Devils Vs. Penguins Score Update: Pittsburgh Adds One More To Take 3-1 Lead At Second Intermission

The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to rebound from their worst loss in more than month yesterday - an 8-4 defeat to the Ottawa Senators. With the back-to-back weekend, Brad Thiessen gave up all eight goals on Saturday but with Marc-Andre Fleury back in the crease, the Pens are in control on Sunday night and head to the third period with a 3-1 lead over the New Jersey Devils.

It was a scoreless second period through the first 15-plus minutes but Pascal Dupuis would add to the Pens lead with his 23rd goal of the season. Dupuis jumped on a rebound off the stick of Sidney Crosby that settled in front of Martin Brodeur. He quickly slammed it home for the two-goal Pittsburgh lead.

Kris Letang missed a shift after putting a hit on Dainius Zubrus but he did eventually return to the ice before the period was over. The Pens will look to ride Fleury over the final 20 minutes to close out the season series with the Devils and even it up at 3-3.
