Bracketology 2012: West Virginia Bumps Up To No. 10 Seed In Latest Projections

In the latest bracket projection by SB Nation's Chris Dobbertean, the West Virginia Mountaineers have jumped up to a No. 10 seed after the team's critical win over South Florida on Saturday.

Dobbertean has the Mountaineers playing the New Mexico Lobos in Omaha, Nebraska as a part of the South Region of the bracket. The Lobos are currently 24-6 and finished the regular season tied with No. 23 San Diego State for the Mountain West regular season championship.

West Virginia can greatly improve its chances of getting a better seed with a solid performance in the Big East Tournament. The Mountaineers will play the winner of the DePaul-UConn opening round game Wednesday at noon.
