Atlantic 10 Tournament 2012: Bracket, Schedule And More (Evening Update - Duquesne)

The conference tournament season is well underway, but the power conferences are about to begin this week. That includes the Atlantic-10 Tournament, which gets started on Tuesday. The A-10 is different from some other conferences in that the first rounds are not played in the same location. As a result, all of the first round games will start at the same time on Tuesday, 7 pm. Here is a look at all the games that will be played on Tuesday, but you can check out the full bracket here.

The most important game for Pittsburgh ties is between Duquesne and Massachusetts. It will be played in Amherst, MA. UMass finished with a 9-7 Conference record while Duquesne wound up with a 7-9 record.

George Washington heads west to Ohio to take on Dayton in what should be the biggest mismatch of the day. GW only finished at 10-20 while Dayton had nearly twice as many wins, finishing with a 19-11 record.

Richmond will face La Salle tonight in a matchup of teams with pretty similar resumes. La Salle finished 20-10 with a 9-7 conference record while Richmond was 16-15 with a 7-9 record in the A-10.

Finally, it's Charlotte against St. Joseph's, a game in which St. Joe's should be favored pretty heavily. St. Joe's had a 9-7 conference record, while Charlotte was just 5-11.
